This right here is my number one indicator that an individual is not a scammer or a troll.

Scammers won't pay $15 over and over. Trolls might once...but I doubt it. There's even a couple out-of-staters that pay, so I give them some ground.

As others have said, sounds like a scammer, not an ATF agent. I'm sure the local ATF branch is well aware of this site.
