Went to school with a girl who is OK Nat'l guard and they did drill on the same thing before the election. Guess i'm gonna hafta go bug my former coworker who is nat'l guard too.

Come down to N.O. and talk to the law abiding people who had their guns seized and I think you'll gain a different perspective on that.
Any time an article cites one named source and refers vaguely to a bunch of other unnamed corroborating sources, and then proceeds to tell you that "the consensus is________," it usually means that there really is no consensus, but they are trying to get one formed by getting as many people as possible to start regurgitating the story.
Martial law is unacceptable any time, anywhere, and should be resisted in the most effective way available by all liberty loving people. We should not relax our vigilance against threats like that, not even for a minute. But we also have to keep our heads, and not put too much stock in questionable intell like this.

I think I am going Crazy in my advancing age, but I have been saying this to those close to me for a few weeks now. I believe we, as a nation, are about to have some terrible trying times ahead of us. I believe a total and complete economic downfall, outrageous and unconstitutional gun laws, and other issues that usually would be minor, will fester and we will have an all out good guy/bad guy fallout (read Civil War) very soon.
