If the barrel is bulged preventing getting it out of the slide, is the purpose of drilling to thin the walls to allow cutting it out with a dremel? If its only 1/8" away from coming out, There has to be a better way. I'd love to have a shot at it.
That's an interesting tip.
the barrel will not come out of the slide at all. as i tap the slide back, the rod comes out some but the barrel does nos not move. probably not a good thing!
