Im sorry cant do it, to me it shouldnt be done just because they was in charge in the past when we have so many members of the armed forces being lost in todays times and no one bothers lowering the flag for them and they put more towards the freedom of this country than some past politician that was in it just for the prestige and money.

Upon the death of a sitting or former President how long does the flag fly at half-mast? For a Vice-President? Others?
- 30 days from the death of the President or a former President
- 10 days from the day of death for: Vice President; Chief Justice of the US or a retired Chief Justice of the US; Speaker of the House of Representatives
- Day of death until interment for: Associate Justice of the Supreme Court; Secretary of an executive or military department; Former Vice President; Governor of a State, territory, or possession
- Day of death and the following day for: Member of Congress

Most of you who are so negative of Carter probably were either not alive or too young to have any memory of the conditions that existed during the Carter years. Carter was an outsider in the world of national politics. He had very few supporters in Congress, so he wasn’t able to do much nor was he much aware of international situations. Much the same situation Trump is walking into. The passing of time will reveal if Trump was actually able to accomplish what we voted for, or will comments 20 years from now be similar to what is being made now about Carter.
