Here is Russian 147gn Silver Tip - "accurate" by many counts:

Just to confirm that rifle is all "there" - another 3 without cool down with 21.0 4759 behind 150gn FMJ:

Conclusion:
a) Silver tip is not a "go-to" ammo
b) Reload

P.S. Velocity on 4759 load should be right at 2000fps.

Good shooting rifle!! That stock cut does look kind of new. I wonder if its normal for that area to not have shellac on it?
