It's a shame it carries the stigma it does, but that's what the grotesque abuse of a miracle plant will do.

IMHO, it has little to do with the actual 'abuse' factor and more to do with the rather profitable position of continuing it's prohibition.....you know, just like everything else.

It isn't a miracle plant - potheads keep pushing that line. It does have potential commercial uses like many other plants but the "miracles" are always exaggerated because the real agenda is to make one more intoxicant legal. After years of hearing about the amazing properties loudly trumpeted only to hear them very quietly retracted or downplayed later I am quite jaded.

My research leads me to believe that the "miracle" factor...let's just call it that...is immensely downplayed by the anti drug-as-an-intoxicant camp MUCH more than it is overblown by the potheads.(at least factually)
I mean, even tho' I'm 100% in favor of decriminalizing all or most drugs, my judgement isn't clouded by the desire to self intoxicate because personally marijuana is not for me.....

All of the anti-pot propaganda is not B.S....only some of it is...learn the difference and accept it whether it's in yer corner or not.
As with most things... when properly and judiciously applied in the right circumstances it can prove beneficial, yet when incorrectly operated and/or overused, danger lurks.
