Ramen smackdown

My highly unscientific poll with a non random sample of one person indicates that Maruchan brand ramen is indeed superior to Top ramen. Though the noodles themselves are virtually identical, Maruchan scores higher marks in the powdered seasoning category. That is all.

I agree wholeheartedly. I thought about naming the thread ramen "smack"down in honor of them but decided against it.

Come on now....ramen is great stuff. I know they're supposed to be terrible, but I love them just the same.

I used to throw the seasoning away, boil the noodles, and stir them up with chilli, or just butter and parmesan.

I think it is widely accepted that Maruchan is the gourmet of Ramen.

I only use about a half a packet of seasoning myself. I prefer my ramen with a "hint of chicken"
