Ranch Knife Recommendation

Looking for a everyday ranch knife. I've looked at several brands, mostly the popular brands. Anyone out there have one they would recommend. Needs to be small enough to carry as a crossdraw or horizontal while sitting on a saddle. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what a ranch knife is, but being a homesteader type I tote a Emerson/ Kershaw with pocket snag.. It deploys upon leaving the pocket.. Might take a few pulls to get the hang of it but I've grown rather fond of it.. Not expensive and a variety of models, amazon link..

I really have enjoyed owning my RMJ tactical UCAP is somewhat like a small bowie knife. I carry it horizontally every day even in the saddle. Just to the left of the buckle.
