The rooster is running alone because he turtled 3 times and got into it with a running mate. Asparagus has to be picked every day other wise it gets too tall quick fast and in a hurry. lol. Sweet tater slips are getting there. Doggie is loving the company she keeps.

It was that time of year again and again in another 3 weeks. People food, dog food and even chicken food. The dog and chicken food was cooked in the scolder. The buddy that came took to it like a duck and enjoyed the experience. The chicken legs will go to 2 folks who want for bone broth.

At $9 a pound organic, roughly $720 more yummy chicken went into the freezer today. Hatched and raised here and butchered at 13 weeks. Kept 6 hens back for future needs. The lovely wife came thru again with flying colors. While having a plucker makes plucking easy the fat content of the birds sure does make a greasy mess and clean up work.
