I found this Rapala in the Parking lot of Sooner Power Plant discharge walk in area 10 years before going to work there in the 90’s.
Incredibly hard steel that holds an edge.
Filleted thousands of fish. Don’t have a clue how the handle got burned.
Pro tip: don’t attempt to grab a knife out of the air when it’s falling. Third paper towel. It’s about done bleeding now.

Yep great knifes for sure.
Pro tip: don’t attempt to grab a knife out of the air when it’s falling.

I built a knife for the wife from a small file.
Man I got the edge of a lifetime on it.
I told her the same thing DO NOT reach for it if it falls off the counter.

I come home one day and she said the knife hit the floor and she reached for it and remembered what i said and pulled her hand away and then bent over to get the knife off the floor and seen something
on the floor and seen more of said something and then realized it was blood dripping from her finger that was cut clean to the bone.

She said she never felt it touch her.
Yea that sharp.
I took it to the garage and held the edge against the grinder wheel and ruined the edge.

Never could get it sharp like that again.
