rear main seal on son's 94 yukon

my sons 4wd yukon decided to crap the rear main out, i think. i'm hoping its just the filter mount gasket. won't know til we get it on a lift(have access). anyway, how much time are we looking at from those that have done it on a 4wd? and if it is a rear main, anyone want to send me a pm with an amount they would be willing to do the job for. i'm going to let him decide if he wants to put in the time or the money.thank god he's working and has a little in savings!

Make sure it's not the back of the intake leaking, more common than the rear main.

Thats a 1 piece seal so if it comes down to it, it really is not much more than pulling the transmission. being 4wd have a little more to take care of.

had a couple of people mention that. we will check it out. at nthis point, i'm hoping for the best. our schedules don't jive and it will be a pain just to coodinate the fix.
