I’ll say this again. There are only two parties whose opinion matter and that’s the buyer’s and the seller’s.

Do you all stop driving when the price of gasoline or diesel goes up, stop eating when the price of food rises, or turn off the heat and air when energy prices rise? There are plenty of people still buying and shooting even if it’s more expensive. Nobody is under an obligation to stop what they are doing so that prices will return to previous lows.
The point is lost on you then. I've shown that the prices aren't as high as everyone thinks. Just because someone charges a higher price, doesn't mean that's what it costs. The fact is prices have remained roughly the same. It's like buying eggs off your neighbor for 50 bucks a dozen just so you don't have to drive to the store.

It’s not lost on me. There are all sorts of reasons people choose to buy on secondary/scalper/neck beard markets. I don’t like seeing people pay too much, but there are people who will do so without so much as batting an eye.

Just wait for MMT (CBDC, aka Fed Coin) to kick in, 2023-4. US may look like Venezuela Bolivars, eventually. Imagine the recency bias of last year to current day.
Below is =$1, today. A cup of coffee last year was 500B, today it's 2,000,000B. Read When Money Dies, Weimer Republic 1918-22.
Imagine what A 9mm round will cost?

I don't expect anyone to sell anything at any price. The market will work itself out. If you happen to be looking in this market, you might check out Discord if you haven't already. But it seems the point of messing up for sale ads was missed by a few. Infractions used to be handed out for comments that didn't pertain to the actual sale. That was why I brought it here. I wanted to respond to a post, but the ad was not the place to do that.
Ammunition/powder/cartridge company's are expanding and building new plants to accommodate the new demand and when they all start producing they'll flood the market with so much stuff suppliers will have to drop prices, it's the capitalistic way.

Wonder what the excuses will be when this thread is renewed again next year. There’s no way there’s still as big of a shortage as everyone claims for ammunition and firearms. These aren’t sophisticated items needing chips or silver/gold. I think it’s just impatience. If people keep buying .50 cent ammo, and $600 used glocks, they’ll keep selling .50 cent ammo and $600 used glocks.

The big wigs of Olin and Vista have said they won't. They like the profits and for the time being intend to keep production low enough to continue like pricing in the future. That was part of the acquisition of Remington's ammo division. they control it now too. Their intent was to keep another player from entering the game. they've said as much in interviews.

This is exactly why they're keeping pricing higher. People have shown they are willing to pay it. And you're right. It's not shortage driven, although the cost of doing business has increased. The suppliers are likely enjoying their profit margins too. IMO, the shortages are yet to come, but will be due to transportation issues.

Prices will go back up when the .gov refills everybody’s bank account with the 2 trillion stimulus. Prices will never go down thanks to all the free money being printed. People feeling good about having money in the bank is just a temporary euphoria before the reality of socialism sets in. Buckle up folks.
Amen to that so True. How about people go to work and quit living off the working man.
