Di you have one? Have you shot one? What makes you say the expense is justified for a gun that for me, would just be a range toy? Of course I'd love to have one but I have to eat, pay bills, put gas in my car etc.
Sorry about late response. Yes I have one as well as other Wilson's, Brown's, and Baers. None of them have MIM parts and are hand fitted. They are accurate, reliable, and tough as nails. They also lack firing pin safetys. Wilson has top notch CS.

If you want a Commander, have a custom gun built. Best way to go IMO. You get to choose every detail, every part, no dropping $$$ on a gun then buying new sights, grips, barrel, etc. you will get a lot better trigger too. I had a Kimber .45 that i was less than pleased with. My gunsmith buddy , Barry Greyson talked me into letting him build me a Caspian frame and slide commander. No regrets. Beautiful gun. I'll post a pic when i can.
