Also it is illegal to transport the containers after they have been filled.
Legality seems to come up in a lot of topics discussed on here, and I’m curious who’s out policing the illegal transportation of propane cylinders?!?
I may be wrong, but if I get pulled over for speeding, I doubt the cop is going add an extra charge for me having an illegally filled propane cylinder in the back seat of my truck.🤣

How does one tell if it has been refilled? LOL! Sniff test it?

@Firpo keep in mind, that any cylinder that’s filled/refilled should not have more than 80% its stated volume on board. Meaning, you’ll likely never get 20 lbs in a 20 lb cylinder. It’ll only legally be filled to 16 lbs. not a big deal, but will change your calculations some.
Also, cylinders not designed to refill are no longer DOT approved once refilled. For whatever that’s worth.
About a $500 fine if you get caught transporting them.

Where is the switch on the stove that turns the fan on and off?

Well that gent at Norther Tool Lied to me. Last night ya’ll,stated that and I went to look at my Big Buddy, the one that can have a bottle on both sides. No fan and really cannot se where one would reside!

Get this, I’ll tell on my brain fart. It was mentioned here about an online filter, looked them up and found them Northern Tool. So out meeting @swampratt cllse By Northern Tool I stopped bought one!

Got home and damn! There was one I had put on the 12ft line a long time ago! Brain Farted Big time!

Was talking to the manager, he went and looked at computer. No fans he can find fit in one. He had the plug in adapter, but it was for Mr Heater radiant house mounted heaters with fans. He also had fans for those type stoves.

Ahhhhhaaaaaaa! I figured it out! Read below in the photo!

I've filled dozens of the one-pounders over the years with this little jewel. I've had it so long I don't remember where I got it or what I paid for it. I've tried it both freezing and not freezing the small bottles. It seems to make a little difference, Whether or not it's worth your time is up to you.
