Does anyone use a monitor on their reloading press to make sure powder is going into the case? What are you using? How is it set up?
I use a light that sits above the shell plate and visually check before seating the bullet.
You trained a chicken to check the powder drop?
I do too. I’ve seen some home made monitors made with small video cameras and iPhones and iPads. I want to see how other reloaders have their set up.
Probably trained it to place bullets in the case mouth too.

Part of my routine on loading with the progressive is putting the chicken eye on each round as it comes off the powder die. No radio, no distractions, just me, the lever and the chicken eye. I do have a double fluorescent 4' fixture above the progressive so no additional light is needed. If I have a radio or the TV on in the shop it distracts me.
