Reloading with Alliant Promo

What center fire pistol do you or have you used promo powder for. Reading suggests it meters like red dot. I purchased a big jug during the powder crises, not not sure I should develop a .40 load or just sell it cheap. It is not optimal for .40, so leaning towards selling, rather than keep storing it.

I'm not aware of anyone that used it. If it were me, I'd trade/sell it and replace it with BE86. You can load about any handgun cartridge with it and it's good stuff.

I've used Promo in 9mm, 38Spl, 357 Mag, 44 Spl, 44Mag, 45 Colt.
Also .30-30 and 7.62x54r.

In addition, it can be used in shotguns.

It's very versatile, for less than full power. Use RedDot data by weight.

It's a fast burning powder. It's suitable for use anywhere one can use Bullseye or 231/HP38. Older manuals will have data for almost any cartridge, using RedDot weight.

I like it alot. If you decide to sell it cheap, let me know.
