Why are "THEY" remaking this? Okay they are trying to update the movie for "MODERN AUDIENCES". Just as long as for the chase scene they don't go to Teslas or Hybrids.

No way they use Tesla now. Elon Musk is now the enemy of the left & Hollywood. They'll probably make it with something like this:

And have to stop in the middle of the chase scene to recharge, at which time they'll argue about
how to correctly pronounce their personal pronouns.

Ran out of '80s to remake.
They haven't had a new thought in years.

At least, the original Mustang and Charger were actually AFFORDABLE.
A cop driving a NEW Bullitt Mustang or Hellcat Challenger would be a cop on the take. But, Hollyweird will find plenty of ways to woke (screw) it up.
