For those of you that have never checked... here is the link to check & see if the State Treasurer's office is holding any unclaimed money of yours or a member of your faimily. I just checked and my brother and his wife has 3 items under $50 each.

Can't hurt to check. Only takes a minute.

I found a friends name on there a few years back, seems like it was for $3-400.

Yup, I found an insurance policy on there that my parents bought for me when I was a kid. It was a paid up whole life policy, and due to an address change, I lost track of it. showed up on the list, and I got it back. Very cool thing they do.

Found my moms name in the data bank! The address they have listed for her is from 20 years ago though in the house i grew up in lol
