Remington 597 opinions?

Bolt actions - CZ or Marlin, all the way. Particularly CZ.

What! Hath Hell frozen over? Are you actually suggesting something popular and *GASP* not not an oddball item?

CZ or Sako Quad for a bolt .22. Putting marlin in with CZ makes me laff.

I bought a 597 last year. I took mine apart, polished the guide rods, installed the Volquartsen extractor & target hammer (polished also), mounted a burris 3x9-40, installed a quad rail, and shot it with paint. Those first three modifications reduced the trigger pull to what I consider perfect. I shoot dime groups at 70-75 yards.
