Has these rifles lost there appeal? They aren’t seen that often or rarely talked about?

Which do you prefer regular length barrel or carbine?

They just got lost in the bolt action/"better accuracy craze imo. They were and still are minute of whitetail accurate in every caliber they made.............................and they're just not very attractive compared to other firearms to some lol.

Have Pop's in 6mm Remington and it's a Lazer. Would also like to find some in 243 and 30-30.

Had no idea that they were considered "budget guns" at the time, learned something new today.

Did some work for a guy that had one in 308. I tried like heck to talk him out of it or trade some work for it. He bought it new and said it’s the only gun he had left and would never sell it.

I have my fathers a carbine in 243. It's not very pretty, but accurate and killed many a coyote and deer over the years.

The appeal is there. That's the issue, when they come up, they sell QUICK. They don't come up often, budget friendly, accurate, not too party to drag through the woods. People keep them.

I have never seen any longer barrelled ones.
