Stopped by the Enid Academy for some shooting glasses and saw the Remington 350-round container for $134 and picked one up. This was the first time I got any plinking stuff for quite a while.
FWIW.

Agreed, it's high-priced but I don't believe it's too bad. What I have to do is get back into reloading. I have most of the components that I need; I just have to get the dies, press, etc. That’s still $19 /50.
Still too high. I’d consider getting a 9mm and buying ammo again if
It got back down to 11-12$
i haven't done the math in a while, but it seems with the price of all components and equipment going up, plus the labor and time investment, i can't see how anyone can load 9mm cheaper than .20c a round. we aren't too far from those prices, and i definitely think we'll get there.Agreed, it's high-priced but I don't believe it's too bad. the math works, just got to be patient and willing to jump on a deal. Unique and similar powders can be found. used brass is a few cents a piece in qty, american reloading constantly has deals. I have bought pulled 115/124gr v-crown projectiles cheaper than tmj/fmj. Lord knows at this point I won't ever run out of components. on a dillon i can easily do 400 hour or more, but you are right about finding that damn hour. lolAgreed, it's high-priced but I don't believe it's too bad. Remington does have the bucket of bullets in 45 acp 230 gr 200 ct if you can find them also CCI and Federal has their own buskets that they produce. I have seen the Remington for around $90 a bucket at some places online.Dang wish they did that in .45
That’s exactly where My mind leads; and then I remember $100+ primers.Agreed, it's high-priced but I don't believe it's too bad. What I have to do is get back into reloading. I have most of the components that I need; I just have to get the dies, press, etc.
I've had several thousand primers for a few years, as well as other components, so it's not nearly that bad for me.That’s exactly where My mind leads; and then I remember $100+ primers.
