Mike, this sounds cool as heck. I shoot USPSA Production and enjoy it; am thinking about branching out to 3-Gun. I would love to get the chance to run my AR regularly under pressure, the way the monthly Production match lets me do with my handgun.

So I am gonna try hard to be there Aug 29.

Is a non-magnifying red dot optic (Eotech; Aimpoint Micro) still considered standard division?

Also, can one run pistol caliber rifles in centerfire?

The non-magnified does include those optics you referenced and are allowed in standard. If you want to shoot pistol caliber we will allow it, but that 300 yard shot might be sporty!
