I am using a Marlin lever gun chambered in .308 Marlin Express. A weaver 2.5 x 7 x 30 scope sits on top. Got her all sighted in yesterday...looking forward to the opener.:hey3:

What are you using for rifle season this year?

I am taking my Remington 700 in 30.06 with a Bushnell Elite 4200.

I have seen a 12 point buck on my property a couple times, I hope to get him in my crosshairs this year..:50cal:

Pretty much same thing. Rem 700 .30-06 with a Bushnell Trophy Hunter 3-9x40. Always use Hornady or Nosler rounds.

Last year I used my TC Encore ProHunter in 30.06. Awesome results! Two dead deer within 10 minutes. Doe and Buck.

This year I'm trying a new toy. AR-15 chambered in 6.8 SPC accompanied by a Nikon Monarch 2.5x10 x 43mm. Using 95gr Barnes TTSX.
Should be a deadly combination!!

First one I want to blood is long-range rig: Weatherby Mark V Ultralight in .280 Rem, wearing Nikon Monarch 4-16x42mm. If I do, I'll then try the all-purpose rig: DPMS LR in .260 Rem, wearing Nikon Omega 3-9x40mm, which I tried to blood last year to no avail.
