Paratus Forty-Six will be hosting SGM (USA, RET) Tu Lam of Ronin Tactics in Broken Arrow on March 11th & 12th, to present his Edged Weapons seminar. This is a two-day event, running on a half-day format. The class will meet from 1pm to 5pm each day at Martial Arts Academy USA in Broken Arrow.
Students will be taught the use of a curved, fixed, ring, folding, or improvised blade at conversational distances under stress. The course will also cover anatomy, effective blade placement and the capability and limitations of a variety of knives.
SGM Lam is a recently retired Army Special Forces soldier. He escaped Vietnam as a child, then spent over two decades in service to his adopted country as an adult, nearly all of those years in the Special Operations community.
Registration will open soon. For links to the Ronin webpage and a link to the Ronin Courses page, visit the Course page on our website at http://www.paratus46.net/ronin-tactics-edged-weapons
Cost for the course is $100 per day, and students may sign up for either one, or both days of instruction.
There will be a class dinner at a restaurant near the class site on Saturday evening. We hope you make plans to join us for dinner.
