I am removing my previous posts to this thread. I apologize for saying anything derogatory to your beloved player. I posted early on, a playful, friendly, well-wishing post about this game. I also took shots at myself and my favorite teams in the post. I only posted that one, as since my time here, it has been awesome, and all seemed to be mature adults. However, as it has become apparent, as anytime, with any forum in Oklahoma, you can't be yourself because the people in this state think there is only one school, in the nation worth talking about.

I should have known this and left the political crap alone. There are only a few internet warriors, who decide to degrade others for their opinions, but they will eventually destroy this site like many Oklahoma based forums end up doing.

I will leave everything alone except the areas for firearms alone from now on, since I have seen, as with any other site in the state, that you are an OU fan or you are trash and you get degraded, slammed, and otherwise humiliated for trying engage in camaraderie, and good ol fashion friendliness.

Again, I apologize for ruffling the feathers of those not mature enough to understand. To the others I apologize for stating anything to this thread.

LOL !! I have no problem with you not being an OU fan at all, I just don't understand how you can spew all that hate towards a college student you have not met and "pray" for his failure!! An opinion is saying I think B Mayfield is immature, which I would have to agree with. All the name calling and praying for any ones failure is what I do not understand. OU fan here that pulls for the Pokes every game EXCEPT when they Play OU, Same with the Mighty Tulsa Hurricanes!! As far as ruffling my feathers I will quote a badass coach " I am a man, I am 40(+)". I can handle it without ruffled feathers. We have discussions that get a little heated on occasion and it is all good. You do not need to apologize or delete your post, it is a discussion and no points are being taken or given. Just be careful and keep it civil or them steenkin mods will get all hot under the collar!!

I'm now in the throw out stoops column. OU needs to learn how to tackle by throwing their arms around the guy they want to tackle and taking him down, not just throwing themselves at their ankles.

Where do you come up with that crap? Just saying what happened, I dont care if BM celebrates, even if he does look silly the way he does it.

Have you noticed other college team players doing the same thing? They are emulating him.
