Yes it does. I was thinking that the use of zinc alloy, MIM parts, and an unfluted cylinder all = a significant cost savings both in the manufacturing of this revolver and the price to the consumer. I have a Heritage Rough Rider, and it's a fun little gun...but I think I paid $179 for the rough, cobby lookin' thing. This Wrangler looks clean and well made, and reflects Ruger's quality. At $249 it's an excellent buy IMO; at $199, it's a steal! I will have one, maybe two.

IIRC, the grip frame is Zamak/Zamac--not aluminum as was stated in the Gun Blast video.

I just got this email directly from Ruger Customer Service:

"The grip frame is Zinc, the cylinder frame is Alloy Aluminum, and the cylinder is Alloy steel."

I called Atwoods Norman They only deal with guns in stock. Lady called Atwoods in Bixby they said only sell guns in stoc

Shawnee Atwoods has no less than 1 sign that says they will special order a gun of your choosing, you may not have spoke to a conservative person.. The price may not be to your liking on orders but once they have them in stock, which I suspect they will, they'll go on sale for a fair price.. Right now they have the Ruger PC9 carbine for $429 which is a fair price..
