Ruger 10/22 Takedown, anyone have thoughts on it?

I wish ruger could figure out the whole threading barrels thing. They don't do it on guns that would be great with it, and the ones they do it on, they do it really half assed.

I looked at one today. I did not like the blue stock, but I would like to get one.

They come w/ black stocks as well, if I remember correctly I read the blue stocks are just a tribute to the USA Shooting Team Ruger

I got my takedown model a couple weeks ago and really like this gun. I couldn't be happier with it.

Bought mine when they first came out, and still love her. Teamed her up with an SR22 pistol, along with plenty of magazines for both. 10 for the pistol, and 5 of the Ruger BX25's. Just lots of fun!!!!!!!!!!

Those are some good pics. Took my TD out yesterday and sighted it in with a Bushnell TRS-25. What a great combo. Took it apart to see how zero would hold, and it was dead nut. Great gun!
