I have their second generation of that rifle. Early 90's I think. I love that gun. 270gr Speers put animals to sleep.

I'm familiar with the Ruger .44 carbine, it is on my want list. I didn't realize it was in any way related to the PC9, looks like it is similar in design except the .44 uses a rotary mag.

Looks like I had the wrong impression, from 1961 to 1985 they were all tube fed, not sure why I thought they used the rotary mag.

The second generation of those which they called the deerfield, which is what i have, is a 4 tound rotary mag. And have a rotating bolt action like a mini 14. So you was still right.

That's the one I was thinking of, 99/44 I think is what they call it.
