Do you have some literature to share that I could read to see where you would align her with Che? I do not care for some of her politics but I have never seen anything that would cause me to think she is a Marxist or a murderer.

I don't know that I could put her in the same category as Che, but her support of abortion would be getting close.

Supporting abortion is supporting the murdering of innocent babies in the womb. So I would say yes, she is a murderer since she supports the slaughtering of babies. I hope she is ok too. But this talk about how much she has done for this nation is ridiculous. She is an enemy of this nation and has been for years. Now that doesn’t mean I wish her dead either. I pray that people like her will realize their sins and repent before it’s too late but I doubt that will ever happen.

Isn't kind of apples and oranges? Justice Kavanaugh guzzles beer and allegedly gropes women, while Justice Ginsberg is really just awful old.

Very much so. The position is for life unless impeached. Impeachment is for bad behavior, not being old. The President has an incapacity clause in the Constitution, but SCOTUS justices do not.

I dunno what it’s coming to but it darn sure is getting full of hateful people. So she had a different point of view; that’s really no reason to speak poorly of the woman. She’s a tiny bit smarter than a lot of people around here, that’s for sure. And she will go down in history and be remembered for the many good things she contributed to and accomplished. Others? Well, they will just go down. Some people are so narrow-minded they’d disrespect Santa Claus.

Surprisingly, RBG and Justice Scalia were very good friends.

Mm-hmm. Unlike a few people here (and I do mean a few--I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of people who have been respectful and wished her well), they were able to disagree without being disagreeable. Matter of fact, Scalia even got her into shooting and hunting!

As to RBG, I wish her the best of health, but do wish she'd retire. Highly unlikely under a Republican President and Senate--matter of fact, dad (also a lawyer, albeit retired) and I were talking earlier, and he remarked that her living will probably says keep her on whatever machine it takes to keep her alive until the White House changes hands--but I would like to see her replaced on the bench.

Whichever way one feels about abortion is purely a matter of one's opinion. It really has zero to do with a gun forum, and I feel it would serve absolutely no purpose to be a topic here. I am not telling you to not talk about it, but I am suggesting there are more appropriate things to discuss on a gun forum. Getting embroiled in such a contentious, out of place topic like that here can only lead to anger, frustration and unpleasantness for all those involved. Now, everyone, act as you will.
