I love these pistols, great shooters, excellent with a can. I've accumulated several so I thought I would start a thread. I'll update it to share links on how to disassemble them, and other useful tips. I'll start with my 622, and a 422 project gun. I made some mods to the 422, cut a vent slot, shaped the trigger guard, and blasted the frame.

I am a big fan of the 2206. I bought the 4" new and it has had a bunch of rounds thru it over the years. It is one of the best 22 autos ever made IMHO. Of course S&W also makes good 22 revolvers. :)

One of the most overlooked .22 semi's out there. Wish I had mine back. I can't help but believe that S&W quit making these because they were just too expensive to make and sell at the price point of them time. To have gotten what they wanted would have been to put this gun in the Model 41 territory. Whatever the reason, it was a bad move to quit making these.

They're not all that easy to find locally. There are several models available with variations within the models. The adjustable sights on some models are pretty good.
