thanks alot! now you have me cruising gb to replace the 422 and 2213 i had years ago.

The is a REALLY nice 2213 on Armslist right now, he is WAY high on it though.

The 2213's are commanding a pretty high price in general. There is also a 2214 on GB right now, a little rough, but the price isn't too bad.

Just to give some specifics on the numbering for all of the new followers.

422 base alloy framed pistol, black, available in 4" and 6" versions.
622 same as the 422 but silver in color
2213 compact alloy framed pistol silver
2214 same as 2213 but black
2206 Target model, some variations, and available in 4" and 6" all were silver

Here's the one I had once upon a time. A fellow member has it now. It's a 622 with adjustable sights.

I may have accidentally acquired another 422 also, I have a fair amount of spare parts so I swap the black controls out for silver, makes the all black gun look a little better.

OK, a sarcastic thanks a lot to all of you. I'm largely unaware of these 22 auto Smiths, well till reading this thread, so I'll have to put another collection chapter in my book of stuff I have. LOL. Seriously, they are cool and I will get one...ah some!
