had a buddy buy a model 66 that is out of time in DA. i've never had to have it done. so, about how much does it run and and suggestions as to who to contact,thanks

Have your friend contact S&W, explain what's wrong, and ask for a ship tag.

P.S. Tell him not to mention that he is not the original owner, they have a life time warranty, but get a little hinky once you mention your not the original owner.
