I have had the Gen 1 & Gen 3, bad trigger on both, I'd save a hundred more & get a better gun. I wouldn't carry it concealed.

I owned a Sigma .40 for a couple years, no problems here. Heavy and long trigger pull but all around a lot better pistol than others in its price range. I killed a lot of paper, beer cans and small critters with it during the time I owned it. Traded it off to a guy I worked with for a Remington 760 carbine in .308

I had it in 9. GREAT gun. Super reliable. You will NOT win any smooth trigger contests, but it does exactly what its supposed to do every time.
