My wife has a business trip to San Antonio this weekend, and I'm tagging along for our anniversary. They're putting us up in a very nice place on the Riverwalk.

We went to Saltgrass Steakhouse and Iron Cactus.
Both were pretty good. On Sunday when she had her class, we ate Fuddruckers for lunch. It was nice to be in a hotel where you could take the elevator down to the Riverwalk (Hyatt Regency).
And... for those that have a 4G phone, San Antonio has 4G service.
ETA: I did find it quite odd that while my gun was legal, neither of the knives that I own were, nor was my pepper spray...
Did you make it over to the Alamo? We were there that Saturday and got very lucky. They had re-enactors. It was cool they had some mexican military, some people dressed like Texans and of course a guy dressed like Davey Crockett. It was really cool. They talked a lot about the weapons used and of coursed fired some of them. It was a very cool event my 11 year old son loved it. I learned some history that I never knew.
