Come to think of it, the mulberries didn't produce here either. That is great news. Those danged thing stain the birdshit and then the birds **** everywhere. It would be fine by me if they never reproduced.

They do make purple poop...........you guys and your white trucks! Excellent trees to sit by and wait for squirrels though.

Hold on until after the freeze in November and check for persimmons. My backyard tree put on a heavy load despite the freeze. Mine go to support the area deer.

We are loaded with persimmons around here.

Persimmons are at their peak of ripeness now, if you've never had one, go get them, before everyone else does!! Bite into them of course just to make sure.
