Not the ROTC range. It was the OSUPD range. Bullet went over the berm and travelled about 1-1/2 miles. Went through one wall of a construction trailer and lodged in a chair in the opposite wall. A guy had been sitting in the chair some point earlier in the day. Range got closed immediately.

There was a story floating around Stillwater a few years ago about a guy that shot a .50 at the local ROTC range. Supposedly went through the berm, travelled two miles, went through a portable building wall and lodged in the back of a chair someone had just been sitting in. I do NOT know it is true or not but the ROTC range was closed immediately.

I mean isn't 6500ish meters (~4 miles) the max range without traveling through a berm? So I can't see it making it two miles after being disrupted. I mean, that story just seems to have some holes in it. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Edit: SPDguns corrected that it went over and not through. And he would know I bet
