Any of you save old spent primers?
Maybe if the need came, you could take them apart and reuse the metal parts!
I used to shoot with a old timer that been reloading since he was a child.
He told us that his Pop would only buy him a hundred primers every so often.
So to shoot more he started taking the spent primers apart and using a punch, flatten out the dent from the firing pin.
Then he would load up the primer cup with a cap from his toy cap guns (I believe the paper ribbon type).
Put the anvil back in and load them back up!
