It's my favorite outdoor store. THe amount of firearms and related gear is incredible. Many time the amount of competitors. I like the fact that many of the firearms are not stuck behind the counters and you have much more ability to handle/fondle firearms youre interested in. I've been to the Scheels in SLC and Great Falls, MT. Both amazing. Looking forward to seeing the Tulsa store.

They have been sending me catalogs for a while before the opening. Didn't see any bargains, but there are always sales. We don't go to Tulsa much anymore after MIL and FIL passed away, so it will have to be a destination trip. Looking forward to seeing their store. Watched the construction in progress. It has to be HUGE.

Wife and I went, we’d been to Scheel’s before so it wasn’t new, except the reloading area. When we went I wasn’t interested at the time but now seeing the variety of equipment they have is nice. Of course primers galore but there should be considering we went Saturday after opening.

We like Scheels. We've been going to Scheels since we where first stationed in Minot in the 90s then Great Falls, lived in Co for the new store in Colo Springs and now a new store in Tulsa. Spent way to much money with Scheels over the years but got some screaming deals when they were still more of a family owned type store. Now they are corporate but still have great stuff and a lot of USA made items too.

The first scheels I was in was in Bismarck North Dakota in the late 60’s. It was called scheels hardware and my dad took me with the get nuts and bolts and a few nails to finish a project.

Things have changed. The store in Tulsa is like an entire mall in one store. Candy store to Ferris wheel and everything in between.

The thing that interested me was nobody was buying much. They were all lined up to ride that Ferris wheel.
Reloading bullets I use were cheaper around town. I might go buy some primers next week if they are still on sale. Nothing really jump out and said "I'm a bargain, Buy me"

My bad Garth brothers, not Garf brothers . It was an old-school shop with each department staffed by people who could help you find what you needed and how to use it -- If you were going to BC to hunt sheep they could outfit you with guns , clothes, gear ,boots ,and anything else you could want or need .
