What i found at Scheel's is i found al Carheart flannel shirt is selling for $59 it's just $49 on Carharts web page found the same Carhart shirt at Dick's for $49, this tells me that Scheel's is pushing higher prices and i bet from reading the forums getting away with it, and for parking it's a nightmare trust me parking at Scheel's is not simple then even getting inside Scheel's is a test of finding their entrance and the wind from a big fan blowing on you is a stupid thing.
And for the ease of shopping Scheel's is not an easy store to shop in, having to take a small elevator and i mean very small of climb a large to stage stair stair no problem for me but i saw other older people not doing very well on it just to get to there second floor, Dick's is a one floor and a really big open well lighted store with a great big parking lot and just walk into the entrance through their auto opening doors and no fan blowing you like crazy.

I was there this morning. First time in a Scheels. It's amazing the things that they stock! There stacks and stacks of 209 primers and about any type of powder you should happen to need. Concerning another thread, they had a pile of Big Buddy heaters for $109. The inventory of ready to use ammo was impressive!
I started out I'd only buy what i could carry. By the time I made it to the gun room, I grabbed a carry basket then I high tailed it to check out with over $300 in supplies. Told checker 'I'm glad I didn't grab a cart since our couch is really uncomfortable!'
As far a knives go Sports World is still the King of Knives, they have more of the better known high priced knives like Medford Chris Reeve Knives of Alaska Zero Tolerance Bush Craft CRKT and many more, not implying Scheel's does not have a lot of knives but not the many brands as Sports world.
No matter where in Tulsa you go for a knife if you think your going to get good guidance and people who know knife steel good luck.

Scheels price matches
Scheels struck me as a designer style sporting goods store. Designer clothes, etc., downstairs and sporting goods upstairs. I didn't see any have to have items at a price I couldn't get somewhere else in town that wasn't as crowded.

I am working at Dicks part time selling firearms no handguns and Dick Stack the owner of Dicks who was selling AR 15 at his other stores, and all of a sudden he says no sales of rifles or shotguns or Ammo. to anyone not 21 we had many people 18 who had looked at shotguns that a 18 year old could buy under the existing laws but Dick Stack said it's my stores so i make the rules.Dicks is anti gun. I had people coming up tp me and givining me holy hell about the new store rules, i just told them i am a simple Dicks employee i do not agree with the new rules but can do nothing about them.
Then i found that Mr. Stack had hired lobbyist to go to our our Congress and lobby for stronger gun control and the banning of AR 15s and Assualt Rifles and restrict all magazines to 10 rounds or less, this from a man who had made a lot of money selling firearms and Ammo.
Then Dick Stack said he would not sell any type of firearms or Ammo. and i was told all i would be doing was working general stock, so i told Dicks goodbye.
This was before his new Tulsa store was opened today Dicks is 100% non firearms and Ammo. Just high priced clothing and golf stuff.
As David at Dongs said about Dicks when he posted his first store rules, go sell jock straps we wil handle the sale of firearms.
