I actually thought picking up sheds on public land wasn’t allowed, but according to the refs, it’s not. I would assume a skull would be the same.
Skulls with antlers attached need to documented with game warden. I sent a pic to mine with location found and responded back with his name, badge number, date and description of rack and said print it off or safe screen shot with pic.
That would be more trouble than it’s worth for me.
I made a mess of the last post. Lol I was waiting on a ride to go bow fishing and trying to woof down a cheeseburger. Didn't make the bowfishing trip as a fire call came in.
Spent the afternoon on the 4 wheeler cruising deer trails, fence rows and creek banks. Didn't find a single shed. Don't typically find any on our places. Pretty open, but always go just in case.....
Light breeze from the right. I trimmed the video down almost too much. You can see when he locks down when he passes down wind of the shed.
This buck is still wearing his antlers. First time he’s came to the feeder and it threw right when he walked up so he bolted. Only got a snap shot with my phone.
April 19th and still holding both sides. 
He hasn’t even hit puberty yet. When his testosterone goes up, they will drop. No pun intended.
