Shipping a Rifle USPS

To the uniformed that got in this thread just to whine, USPS is still not supported by any tax dollars. If someone has legitimate problems that I can try to help with, pm me and I will try. As I have stated before, we do have some problems, just as many other companies do. I try to fix what I can, sometimes I can't. If you want to see real government waste in action, go to tinker and take a look around. Makes USPS look like a an ant colony on amphetamines.

I didn't start this thread to bag on the post office. Just the one lady that worked there. The five other postal employees that I've dealt with this ordeal have been very professional and courteous.

I thought you could only ship firearms to the manf for repair. Can you ship any gun, anywhere in the U.S.???

Since a virgin receiver is other, I'd have to assume you follow the handgun rules, but don't know for sure.

I don't know why anyone bothers with them. Just take it to a UPS Service Center and be done with it.
