Don't they always hit you with that fee when shipping ammo?

If they do you're getting screwed. ORM-D is specifically designed to remove hazmat restrictions.

If going out of Okla. Make sure of the laws. Places like NY,NJ,Ca, and IlL. I'd pass on.

Well I shipped the ammo. I couldn't ship it at a UPS Store or a FedEx kinko's. USPS threatened to have me jailed. Both FEDEX and UPS made me go to their central distribution locations just like you would have to do to ship a gun. Someone once told me that you could let the truck dirver pick up a firearm and ship it to an FFL but I can't confirm that. I wonder if its true and if that would be the sme for ammo?
