its so freaking stupid. It honestly makes me think of that movie where the guy plots a murder just to prove that the death penalty is wrong. ONe could easily obtain a non black rifle illegally and easily mow over dozens of people in a gun free zone. No one ever asks why it never happens in a place where people may or may not be armed

Hot damn this type of information pisses me right off. Maybe what we need is to put laws in place that make school administrators liable when something like this happens in their school? Not in instances liek Sandy Hook, where the guy with no warning signs(he never said, "Im going to go shoot up a school") went nuts but CLEARLY after reading the link above the Cali shooting could have been avoided.
These administrators need to pull their heads out of each others asses and be more aware of what is going on inside their doors. Charge them with criminal negligence and heavy fines with the obvious addition that they can never work in the education system ever again.
The rumors going around are that this kid made threats last year(he was actually carrying around a "hit list"). He was suspended for his actions, but allowed to return this year. But lets not get sidetracked here and try and point out signs that this kid was a danger to himself and others.....guns are the problem here. /sarcasm
