[Free Trapper]

Got some shootin done today. A flintlock muzzleloader pistol and my 'ol M1 carbine which I hadn't shot in a coons age. I'm lucky cause my shooting range is just about 100 yards SW of my back door. I try to shoot at least 2 times a week, even if its just a mag full of 22's.

Going to the Creek County fairgrounds tomorrow for a free fly fishing and dutch oven cooking seminar, if anyone's interested. I understand its quite a gathering and the folks are quite friendly.

Went to Red Castle today and I think I was one of about 7 people there. It was cold! Got a little trigger time in though so it was good.

I hear that. I think I fired 54 rounds total today.

There's one thing I miss about Red Castle. The 300 to 500 yard belly (prone) shooting. My favorite type. Well, that and muzzleloading.

Sooner67 and I were out at Oil Capital today. Just about froze my hands off, but any trigger time is good trigger time. Discovered that I like Caracal and Steyr quite a bit.
