I am all for appeals. The "state" has on occasion killed the wrong person. No one in the media wants to talk about all the ones who were judged correctly however. I'd suspect that a high percentage of those "not guilty" of the capital crime they died for probably have long rap sheets and were heading to a bad end if they lived longer anyway.
