Shot a Black Widow today...

Like you, Pulp. we try and not destroy insects unnecessarily. Even Black Widows have a place. we had several take up residence under our hot tub. Nope, wrong place to be. too close to our bare feet. dispatched.

We look forward to seeing our zipper spiders come back every year. We always seem to have a couple every year. Fascinating spider!

Are those the big yellow black red ones? We love watching those during the spring and summer.

The only spiders I kill on sight are the recluses. Even black widows get a pass if they aren't in a traveled location.

I have fun feeding them. Last year had one by the back chimney that caught and ate a small snake. That was pretty cool!

They don't want to bite you, if anything they just want to be left alone.
