Thank you guys for the kind words. I have a lot of room for improvement given all the really good photographers on these threads. Which would be a great topic for a thread … having people here share examples of how they stage and shoot pictures. There are some really good pictures and knowing how they are shot and staged would be helpful.
I like this idea. This was my attempt and I'll just leave it here since it's a .45. Guns with knives seem to be a pretty common theme in my photo album, lol.
Here's a photo I tried this evening just messing around with the light, rather than just pointing and clicking with my cell phone. I don't think it really looks any better. Guess I need to learn how to do the pic and lighting thing right.
There is an art to it for sure. I don't have the Knack nor the time to mess with it. Research a photo box on YouTube or google. There are tricks to be learned.
When My wife an I got together, 30+ years ago, I told her she can wear sexy clothes, but I am a simple man. I am good with naked, everything else is just window dressing.
