This small fixed blade knife with it's blade of 1095 carbon steel, it is a really great strong do about everything knife and when it was available cost just $35 US.
Today it's gone and that is really sad because it's a very good knife, it has a great handle giving one a firm grip and no hot spots when using it.
Being built really strong you can do some hammer chopping when needed, the knifes holding device has a belt unit, i removed so i can just hang it from neck or stick it in a pocket.

I hate the discontinued of some makes too. I was issued a Buck Crosslock on the Fire Dept, it saved me many times on and off duty. Lost one I retired with and the bam, no more made. I found it years later down in the bowels of my Zero Turn Mower. So I went to buying several to make sure I would have enough to last me.
