Welp; I totally disassembled the pistol and took the frame to Black Label Armament in OKC to be ceracoated. I’m going to leave the slide and controls black. Got a set of black Hogue Extreme G10 Grips for the gun. The frame will be ceracoated “tungsten” which is a dark gray color for you guys that are color challenged. So I’ll have a badass reverse two tone Sig soon instead of that girly man blue.

Anyway, it should take a week -10 days to get it done, then I’ll reassemble all the thoroughly cleaned and lightly oiled parts and it will be picture taking time for your Pistola enjoyment!

What did you do again?

Here's what I did: "I’m going to leave the slide and controls black. Got a set of black Hogue Extreme G10 Grips for the gun. The frame will be ceracoated “tungsten” which is a dark gray color".

I'll have to look into doing something similar with my 226 if your job turns out nice. I have too many solid black guns.

...does cerakote feel weird?
