Please go sign this petition at whitehouse.gov calling for the government to ignore petitions to ban the AR. Yes it is symbolic, but it is a way to demonstrate public opposition to silly and arguably unconstitutional calls to disarm the people.

Yeah, those 15,000 signatures didn't go far. I'm guessing it's more reflective of their social media strategy than of Americans' attitudes about the issue.
